Successful conference Conquering financial – accounting employers of afc vietnam

On April 8, the conference "CONQUERING FINANCIAL – ACCOUNTING EMPLOYERS" was held successfully by AFC with a larger number of participating students than expected, which showed that students have been really interested in job opportunities. That was why students came to the conference as they wanted to learn more experience for the interview, CV writing skills to make themself impressive towards employers. Another reason for the great success is due to the reputation from earlier conferences which were successfully organized by AFC. The students attended the conference came from various schools such as: Academy of Banking, Academy of Finance, National Economics University, Vietnam Comercial University, Hoa Binh University, Phuong Dong University, University of Labour and Society, University of Industry, Trade Union University…

 

At the begining, MC invited students to join a funny game called "Building Bird Nests". The game was responded enthusiastically, many students volunteered to join the game and MC pointed 06 students to participate in. 02 gifts from AFC were given to 02 best students.

 

From starting, MC introduced about AFC Institute of Financial Management and invited Dr. Dang Duc Son – President of AFC Institute of Financial Management – to share the standard CV writing skills with students. He showed students some CV templates to illustrate his presentation, it helped them visualize and understand more easily. He stressed that: "CV is the first bridge brings students closer to employers, a professional standard CV is always the key making employers keep their eyes on you".

 

Dr. Dang Duc Son added that besides standard factor, employers were always attracted by a professional impressive and stylish CV. An impressive CV whose form is nice and content is great. The content includes necessary information that is sorted logically and scientifically; the most importance is that information must be relevant and meets job requirements. Most students who are currently enrolled at University, seniors and graduated students have little working experience, thus Dr. Dang Duc Son encouraged students to fill all information about their working experience in their CV, even volunteering activities. If you′ve already had working experience in any enterprises or organizations, it is your advantage; if you do not have working experience but volunteering activities ones, employers will assess you as a dynamic and outward-looking person, it is also a favorable factor for the selection.

 

Then Dr. Dang Duc Son shared with students the outstanding characteristics of candidates based on employment period of AFC Vietnam.

He guided students basic skills for the interview, the students were listening and noting carefully. Students could not get that information from any schools but from Conference "CONQUERING FINANCIAL – ACCOUNTING EMPLOYERS" organized by AFC.

 

Lots of questions were given, Dr. Dang Duc Son was very interested in all questions. He was so glad to have the opportunity to help students with their inquiries.Students became more vibrantly when the program was turned to the gameshow. Students were curious and attracted by gifts and scholarships from AFC. 07 gifts and 07 scholarships were awarded to 07 students for their best answers.
