With the straightforward way of talking, Doan Vo Khang Duy naturally told us to the plan with "iron and tole" of AMECO.

He told that AMECO has dominated the market of mechanical machines, tole laminating, tole shearing and tole plating in Vietnam.  AMECO is now the official supplier of equipment for Bluescope, Hoa Sen Tole, Dong A Tole, Nippovina Tole, Truong Hai Auto, Dong Anh Roofing, SMC Steel…, all of them are reputed companies. AMECO also presents in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia … and the EU, Australia, Middle East and Africa….

It is hard to find out why a young man born in peaceful time like him loves history, novel, literature, culture, Trinh′s music, Thanh Tung′s music… has been attracted by all kinds of machinery and mechanical tools….

Born in 1975 in Long Khanh (Dong Nai), Duy′s childhood attached to science stories of Red Scarf Newspaper. At that time, the South of Vietnam had been liberated, post-war life was extremely hard. The boys same age with Duy in rural areas had to help their parents. Therefore the article in "I love creativeness" of Red Scarf Newspaper lifted sensitive and curious soul of Duy. Duy rode over 60 kilometers from his house to Bien Hoa city to buy parts of various types of thermometer, car model and automation model for assembly as directed by the newspaper. His passion for mechanics grew up… then later, Duy became mechanical engineering students.

However his childhood passion was not enough to lead him to be a General Director of a reputed mechanical company which has owned a factory with area of 6,000 m2 in Tan Dong Hiep Industrial Zone B including over 170 well-skilled employees, engineers, technicians and synchronous machinery and tools.

Perhaps, Doan Vo Khang Duy would be a technician at Institute of Applied Mechanics HCMC (where he began training after graduation) forever if Enterprise Law did not effect in 2000. The new wind of revolution has fueled dream of the young man who mixed himself with changes of the country. "I might be the lucky person who was starting carreer while the country was opening widely for private enterprises. We opened the first mechanical workshop with our classmates in 2001. At that time, the industrial production, construction and real estate were developing very fast while mechanics was going slower. We knew that was the only opportunity for well-trained people like us and we seized it…" said Doan Vo Khang Duy.

Up to now, the laminating machine, shearing machine served for constructional and auxiliary industries of Co., Ltd. An Loc (a mechanical company) has been accepted on the market … Therefore AMECO was established to attract more resources, to expand production and to meet the wide-opened market demand…
